
James H. Garrett, CFA
James joined Woodstock in 2025. As a portfolio manager, he is responsible for constructing and managing investment portfolios, managing high-net-worth client relationships, and analyzing stocks. He makes investment recommendations to the Investment Research Committee based on fundamental research and analysis.
Prior to Woodstock, James was a vice president at Boston-based investment management firm Delphi Management Inc., where he worked for 16 years. Since 2016, James managed the All-Cap Concentrated Value strategy for Delphi’s high-net-worth clients. He also regularly assisted in the preparation of presentations for external clients and national press outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and CNBC.
James has a BS in Economics from Clemson University. He is a CFA Charterholder and is an active member of the CFA Society Boston, where he has held positions on the Global Equity Committee and the Young Leader Committee. He also served as an industry mentor for the CFA Research Challenge.
